I was nicely surprised when I saw this movie.
My fear was that it would be too serious like a lot of comedy movies these days but this does not take itself too seriously and the movie is precisely what a Bill and Ted movie should be. There is a disposable sub plot and some acting by the 2 kids can be somewhat overdone but all in all I really enjoyed this. I was a kid when the original, so nostalgic to see this. But if you have never seen the previous movies, you will not understand or probably be able to enjoy this one. So go and see the first two first.

It's a shame they felt like they needed to squeeze another movie out of the bill & ted universe but seeings though hollywood is going through its revamp/reboot and destroying old favorites stage it wasn't a surprise this would happen.
i was a kid when the first two came out and i loved both films. watching this wasn't easy to sit through but i enjoyed the bill & ted parts and was great seeing them both again but i honestly thought they could have done much more with just them as the main story.
the two daughters were beyond irritating and by far the worst part of the film
the minute i saw them i knew it was gonna be a passing on the torch plot and when kid cudi turned up that sealed it. after that i wasn't invested in the film. for everybody's sake i hope they don't try to reboot this with them girls as leads. br>
some good jokes and throwbacks to the original films, even managed to get most of the original cast which was quite funny. the chemistry with bill & ted was still most triumphant and the cast (apart from the daughters ) were great.
but it really wasn't that good of a film tbh, the plot was lazy and the ending just made me cringe. i'll probably never watch it again but it was worth seeing out of curiosity.
